Nothing beats a 4-stroke
for producing lower, quieter, more realistic exhaust
sound...and no one beats O.S. when it comes to developing
a high-performance, nitro power plant. The new FS-40S-C
engine delivers tremendous torque for long climbs and
twisty tracks, as well as a bottom-end burst of speed for
quick take-offs. Plus, it offers better fuel economy than
2-strokes.
- Features a rear-mounted
Type 40P rotary carb with screwdriver-adjustable
throttle stop screw and main needle
- The in-line fuel
inlet rotates 360° for optimum installation ease
- A black alumite
coating on the crankcase and rocker cover and
heat-dissipating fin that extends from the head
to the crankcase increase cooling capacity and
life expectancy
- The camshaft
features advanced timing, a helical gear drive
and ball bearing supports for smooth, high-performance
operation
- Other features
include a ball bearing-supported crankshaft,
ringed piston design, a drilled/tapped rear cover,
and the option of a heavy-duty recoil starter for
added convenience

Requires: muffler, manifold, glow fuel w/10-20%
nitro content & 18% oil content (not common 4-stroke
fuel)
Reinforced
valve springs on the FS-40S-C increase their stiffness,
and reduce high rpm "floating".
